Position Summary:
In the role of Associate, you will be integral to the execution of M&A transactions and advisory initiatives. Collaborating closely with senior colleagues, you will engage in all facets of the deal process, from initial client interactions to the finalization of transactions. This position offers a unique opportunity for a driven individual to gain substantial exposure to high-stakes deals in the infrastructure sector while advancing their career in a vibrant and fast-evolving environment.
Key Duties:
- Transaction Execution: Assist senior team members in the execution of M&A transactions, which includes conducting financial analyses, valuations, and due diligence.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client discussions, prepare presentations, and help foster client relationships.
- Market Analysis: Perform industry and market research to pinpoint trends, opportunities, and potential transaction targets.
- Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain intricate financial models to aid in transaction analysis and decision-making.
- Documentation Preparation: Support the creation of transaction documentation, such as information memoranda, pitch books, and marketing collateral.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, ideally within the infrastructure sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex financial concepts clearly and succinctly.
- Analytical Abilities: High attention to detail, robust analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small group.
