Sales Account Manager

This leading retail and foodservice business is seeking an experienced Suppliers Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
As a key member of the supplier team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with key suppliers.
Acting as the primary point of contact, you will become a trusted advisor, ensuring that supplier needs are met and aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
The role involves overseeing the creation and management of supplier reports, tracking sales, waste, and performance metrics to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and issues are resolved promptly.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Accounts, Supply Chain, and Technical teams, to capture, track, and optimise all touchpoints between the business and its suppliers.
We're looking for a natural relationship builder with solid experience in Key Account Management. You'll be highly organised, with excellent analytical abilities and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.
Experience in the retail or contract catering sectors, and knowledge of bakery manufacturing and food hygiene practices, would be highly advantageous.
