IT Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

Arcas Technology Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Poole. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure software and hardware components.
  • Oversee network servers and manage technology tools.
  • Establish accounts and set up workstations for optimal functionality.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance.
  • Ensure security measures through effective implementation of access controls, backups, and firewalls.
  • Develop expertise in emerging technologies and provide training to staff.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including administration, configuration, and security features.
  • Manage Windows-based servers and workstations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Proficient in Cisco networking technologies, with hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and related infrastructure components.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Azure cloud services, including hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and other key Azure components.
