Position Overview

An exciting opportunity exists within our Paediatric Emergency Department in Brighton. We seek enthusiastic, compassionate, and motivated Band 5 nurses who are passionate about emergency care and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a bustling paediatric emergency environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standard of patient care.

1. Support the seamless and effective operation of the Children's Emergency Department around the clock.

2. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through locally established development plans while contributing to the growth of your colleagues.

3. Collaborate with other agencies to foster partnerships in care.

You will work as part of the Children's Emergency Department, providing 24-hour care for children and young people.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NMC registration

Desirable

  • Experience in Paediatrics
  • Manchester Triage competency
  • Proficient in IVS
  • Skills in Cannulation and Venepuncture
