Compensation: Up to £45,000 annually (based on a 40-hour work week) plus additional benefits.

This role emphasizes hands-on culinary leadership, focusing on quality and team motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimal administrative duties; no involvement in purchasing, budgeting, or scheduling.
  • Day shifts scheduled over 5 days a week, with potential weekend work once a month.
  • Approximately 75% of the work week will occur Monday through Friday.
  • End your shifts by 20:00 at the latest, promoting a healthier work-life balance.
  • Overtime compensation available, either as pay or time off in lieu.
  • Work primarily with fresh ingredients, as 95% of the menu features fresh produce.
  • Engage in various culinary events, including private dining, charity functions, weddings, fine dining experiences, outdoor events, and pop-up barbecues.

Currently, the kitchen team consists of 8 chefs alongside an Executive Chef.

Future Opportunities:

  • The culinary team is expected to expand as we approach 2025, creating more career advancement opportunities for suitable candidates.
  • The kitchen staff may grow to 15 chefs to meet increasing catering demands.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in high-quality, high-volume culinary environments.
  • Strong food knowledge, interpersonal skills, and effective time management.
  • Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate and participation in the DBS update service may be required.
  • Ability to transition between fine dining and hospitality cuisine.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle are necessary.
