About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock control and ordering to minimize waste and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Culinary Events: Collaborate with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the company's standards and client expectations, and maintain a high level of quality control throughout the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution is preferred.
  • Culinary Qualifications: A culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute is required.
  • Food Safety: Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices is essential.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with our team and clients.
