Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Manager with extensive experience in Nuclear projects and a robust understanding of Welding operations. This role is perfect for a quality management expert who has a solid background in manufacturing or construction, particularly within the Nuclear sector. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, possess a deep knowledge of ISO standards, and be dedicated to fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement quality standards specific to projects.
  • Ensure that manufacturing and construction processes adhere to established quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee quality assurance for manufacturing activities, including necessary NDT and dimensional assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19443 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Promote a culture of Nuclear Safety.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all quality-related project matters.
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and report on project KPIs.
  • Provide training and support to teams regarding quality standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Management within the Nuclear field.
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance (existing SC Clearance is a plus).
  • Proficient knowledge of Welding and NDT processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO 19443 and ISO 9001 standards.

Contract Details:
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of £65k - £70k+, negotiable based on experience, along with accommodation allowances and expenses. Full-time working hours are Monday to Friday.

Benefits Include:
25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a combined pension scheme starting at 8%, sick pay, 4 times death in service coverage, travel expenses, and opportunities for professional development.
