The Planner Jobs Redactive Publishing Limited is seeking a talented Ecologist to join a multidisciplinary team based in Liverpool and guide the growth of their ecology services. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement biodiversity net gain strategies, including carrying out and coordinating biodiversity impact assessments, BNG option assessments for planning applications, and drafting and agreeing biodiversity gain plans.
  2. Manage the purchase of biodiversity units and credits as part of an offsetting scheme.
  3. Conduct ecological surveys, including Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments, Biodiversity Enhancement & Management Plans, Natural England license applications (bats, great crested newt, and badger), and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
  4. Coordinate specialist ecological surveyors (independent contractors) nationwide for development sites.
  5. Prepare reports for planning submissions and discharge conditions attached to planning permissions.
Requirements:
  1. Biodiversity Net Gain experience.
  2. Ecological survey experience.
  3. Experience in providing reports for planning submissions.
