Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As an EMHP, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have successfully completed or be about to successfully complete their EMHP training and will have a strong passion for delivering low-intensity psychological interventions to children, young people, parents, and carers. You will be able to form positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Key Requirements
  • EMHP qualification
  • Experience of working with children and young people who have experienced mental health problems
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Able to write clear reports and letters
  • Ability to work within set criteria and refer to other services as appropriate
  • Car owner/driver
  • Registered with the BABCP or BPS
