Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As an EMHP, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and healthcare sectors.

Main Responsibilities

As an EMHP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering low-intensity psychological interventions to children, young people, parents, and carers
  • Working collaboratively with schools and other settings to provide mental health support
  • Developing and maintaining positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers
  • Referring to other services as appropriate and working within set criteria

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified or pending qualification EMHP with experience of working with children and young people who have experienced mental health problems. You will need to have excellent written communication skills, be able to form positive therapeutic relationships, and have the ability to work within set criteria and refer to other services as appropriate.
