Area Director

We are seeking an experienced Area Director to lead our team in Chichester, Winchester, Exeter, Farnham, Southampton, Plymouth, Guildford, Horsham, and Reigate. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving store performance, and enhancing the OB brand image.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales forecasts, ensuring store profitability and operational excellence.
- Analyse commercial information to support store teams and drive performance through action planning.
- Manage controllable costs, ensuring all expenditure is necessary and justified.
- Monitor retail trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Communicate effectively with the Retail team, sharing best practices and lessons learned to improve business performance.
- Support the retail strategy to achieve business goals and drive EBITDA.
- Ensure OB's operational, shrinkage, security, and Health and Safety standards are met.
- Conduct regular store visits, providing constructive feedback and confirming follow-up actions.
- Build strong relationships with Store teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Motivate and inspire your team, encouraging outstanding performance and addressing performance concerns in a timely manner.
- Succession plan to support the growth and development of your teams and the business.
- Previous area management experience.
- Strong commercial understanding.
- Previous experience driving customer service excellence.
- Setting goals and prioritising tasks to achieve them.
