Job Overview

The primary role involves overseeing and assessing the status of forthcoming vehicles. You will be entrusted with specific vehicle(s) and their upcoming service plans. The key responsibility is to assist engineering teams and dealerships in determining the most effective serviceability of the vehicle – identifying optimal solutions and organizing clear instructions within internal data systems. Your contributions will help shape a customer-centric approach to vehicle repairs in the European market, taking into account the challenges posed by engineering, financial considerations, legal requirements, and feedback from dealerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to uphold serviceability for upcoming vehicle models
  • Engage in discussions with various departments regarding new vehicle designs, variants, and significant modifications
  • Develop a Parts List suitable for service and maintain it throughout the vehicle's lifecycle
  • Supervise Quality Assurance in internal data systems
  • Evaluate part designs concerning serviceability and repair efficiency
  • Provide reports on findings as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of automotive engineering principles and general service strategy
  • Experience in the automotive sector, particularly with spare parts catalogs, is advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Effective communication skills
