Scantec Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our client's Asset Management department. This exciting opportunity involves managing and executing Class I & II Capital Expenditure (Capex) projects, contributing to the construction and modification of physical assets at their terminals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute technical projects assigned by the Asset Manager, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
- Prepare project details, scope engineering documents, and cost estimates, utilizing industry-standard software and tools.
- Coordinate procurement and contracting of materials and services, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Commission and close projects, ensuring accurate as-built files and documentation.
- Lead change processes for project scope adjustments, effectively communicating with stakeholders and team members.
- Provide technical and management support on multi-disciplinary engineering works, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in project engineering/management, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a terminal or related industry.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, CFR).
- Fluency in English and local terminal language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and planning software (e.g., MS Projects, Oracle Primavera, Autocad).
