Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Yunex Traffic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers, operatives, and technicians in the installation, refurbishment, and modification of traffic signals, ancillary equipment, and highways systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a small team of engineers, operatives, and technicians to ensure work is completed safely, to a high standard, within specification, and on time.
  • Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Deliver and support training to your team and others as required to ensure knowledge and skills are up-to-date.
  • Ensure your team's work is completed safely, to a high standard, within specification, and on time.
  • Be responsible for delivering and ensuring attendance at site.
  • Ensure stock is organised, booked accurately, and available for installation.
  • Work out of hours to support service and contract requirements.
  • Monitor and promote health and safety practices and reporting within the team.
  • Manage and monitor costs per job and provide breakdowns where required to meet budget requirements.
Requirements
  • You will have an electrical qualification and/or electrical experience with experience working on site.
  • You will have leadership and team management experience and enjoy motivating and educating others.
  • You will be co-operative, helpful, willing to use your initiative.
  • You will be able to manage multiple complex tasks, staff, and organise materials, employees, and sub-contractors.
  • You will be accurate, reliable, and enjoy getting things right first time.
  • You will be able to communicate clearly, work well with others, and promote good team morale.
  • You will be confident working with IT equipment, including a tablet and laptop, and able to learn new software.
  • You will hold a full UK Driving License and we will provide a company vehicle and tools for the job.
  • You will have a strong understanding of safe working practices.
