Job Description:

Salter Grange Limited is working with a leading Engineering Contractor who is currently recruiting a QA/QC Electrical Inspector to join a specialist Engineering Contractor on a high-profile, major Data Centre Development with an Electrical Package Value of over £100m.

The successful QA/QC Electrical Inspector will be joining a new division on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre Project for a blue-chip client and be part of a highly regarded company and well known for its strong Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities and smooth Project Delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of the quality of installations.
  • Owner of snagging the installation both on scheduled walkdowns and observations.
  • Critique installations to ensure the clients walkdown is a snag free exercise.
  • Document Control of Construction Drawings, Schedules and Specifications.
  • QA Owner of allocated Turnover scope to take from construction completion through Testing, inspecting and handover.
  • Partake in Quality Surveillance Programme.

Requirements:

  • Electrical trade qualified or degree qualified
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems.
