We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Children's Services department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team of nursing staff and ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Current NMC registration.
- Evidence of formal ongoing professional development.
- Evidence of teaching qualification.
- Degree (nursing, ODP, or diploma equivalent).
- Leadership/management qualification.
- Previous experience at band 6 or equivalent within a perioperative/surgical setting.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Proven evidence of educational support.
- Demonstrated ability to support colleagues.
- Experience or sound knowledge of human resource management.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to inspire others.
- Conscientious, committed, reliable, and hardworking.
- A high standard of verbal and written communication skills.
