Job Summary:

The HR Advisor will be part of our Human Resources Team, providing support to Senior Management and Venue Managers. The role will involve providing a proactive and comprehensive HR service to managers and employees, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, learning and development, policy and procedures, and ad hoc project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full support, advice, and guidance on all employee relations matters, including general enquiries.
  • Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on HR policies and HR-related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice.
  • Recruit the right person for a role using the best selection method in a timely manner.
  • Coach managers to help develop their people management skills as required.
  • Monitor sickness trends and take remedial action in accordance with company policy and facilitate a proactive approach to absence management.
  • Implement all HR policy, ensuring that all HR issues are dealt with within the timescales set out in the procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date data on manual and computerized records and provide accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Undertake projects that support the company.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates.
  • Use HR information systems to access, input, and compile data.
  • Research and recommend performance evaluation methods, such as employee appraisal systems.
  • Monitor, review, and update all HR policies to ensure they are in line with current legislation.
  • Support the HR Manager with various capability investigations, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive business performance in relation to the organization's objectives.
  • Assist in organizing employer branding initiatives.
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees, and other HR team members.
