Parking Project Manager Job Description

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Parking Project Manager to join their team in North West London.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Parking Project Manager to lead the delivery of transformational parking services projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering complex projects, working closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, manage, and deliver a range of complex parking services projects, including the development and implementation of relevant policies and parking strategies.
  2. Work across departments and with project sponsors to deliver agreed project outcomes, allocating resources within agreed budgets and ensuring a consistent corporate approach.
  3. Collaborate with Directors, Heads of Service, service managers, IT, HR, communications, suppliers, and finance colleagues, as well as frontline staff, to influence, negotiate, and persuade stakeholders to help deliver parking services projects.
  4. Provide progress updates and advice to the Council, Cabinet, Scrutiny Panels, the Corporate Management Team, Departmental Management Teams, and other managers and staff across the organisation.
  5. Offer guidance and challenge to individual project sponsors on effective project delivery approaches, as well as insight on best practice and innovative ideas for post-implementation service delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Project Management Professional, Agile, or equivalent).
  2. Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including occasional working outside of usual hours.
  3. Knowledge of innovative approaches to transforming services in local government and their practical application.
  4. Highly developed inter-personal skills, including the ability to empathise with others and to influence, negotiate, and persuade peers and more senior stakeholders to pursue desired courses of action that will help deliver projects, enhance services, and fulfil corporate priorities.
