Job Title: Transport Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Service Manager to lead our busy division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all recruitment services and working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the candidate process from initial inquiry to placement, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and clients.
  • Oversee the management of temporary and contract driving employees, ensuring their needs are met and they are equipped to succeed.
  • Proactively source new potential opportunities to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Achieve monthly and weekly sales KPIs, demonstrating your ability to drive results and meet targets.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support proactive recruitment needs for the company.
  • Ensure client recruitment needs are facilitated in the best possible way, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Stay up-to-date with current market trends within the recruitment and transport industry, applying this knowledge to drive business success.
  • Ensure compliance with transport and driving regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Manage transport advertising to attract top talent and promote our services.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment cycles, demonstrating your ability to manage complex processes and deliver results.
  • Schedule staff and shift rotas, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Work with high-volume workloads and tight deadlines, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
  • Develop excellent communication skills, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Work under pressure, being available 24/7 for emergency calls and ensuring business continuity.
  • Manage and maintain an accurate client and employee database, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Good levels of education, with a strong understanding of the transport and logistics industry.
  • Previous experience in transport or logistics scheduling, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance, with the ability to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Excellent marketing skills, with the ability to promote our services and attract top talent.
  • Previous experience of managing a recruitment desk, with a strong understanding of recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Experience in managing staff, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • A clean driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel as required.
