Our young people may have experienced adverse childhood experiences, and our aim is to provide them with a stable and comfortable home environment. You will work closely with our team to develop individual care plans, promote positive relationships, and support our young people in achieving their goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to our young people
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our services
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with emotional behavioral difficulties and social/emotional mental health needs
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including sleep-ins, and to cover sicknesses and annual leave
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and to accept direction and guidance
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work with young people who may have experienced trauma and adversity
  • Hold a relevant qualification, such as a Residential Childcare Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car
