Building Surveyor

Osborne Richardson is seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor to oversee repairs and maintenance works on a large portfolio of properties, including tenanted homes, garages, and commercial premises.
The successful candidate will assist in managing the day-to-day repairs and maintenance, as well as overseeing the safety inspection programme. This will involve undertaking surveys to diagnose faults, raising works orders, and supporting neighbourhood officers with access issues.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in building surveying and inspection, including contract administration. They will also have knowledge of construction methods, building faults, and health and safety legislation. Additionally, they will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with non-technical staff, tenants, and leaseholders.
The role will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering a customer-focused service. The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of MS Word and Excel, as well as a valid driver's license.
