MBA are excited to be working with a leading insurance company, assisting their search for a talented Building Surveyor. The client is a renowned industry heavyweight with a reputation for client-centric claims management, technical innovation, and leadership. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to add a skilled Building Surveyor to their team to cover the Swindon / Gloucester area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage a range of surveying duties, including SOW, tenders, valuations, validations, and insurance reports
  • Ensure all work is compliant with UK building regulations
  • Act as a technical referral point for insurance companies
  • Complete Defect Diagnosis reports
  • Assist with bids and business development activity
  • Perform ad-hoc duties
About You
  • Proven broad experience as a successful Building Surveyor
  • Commercial awareness – good understanding of business principles and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Awareness of current building regulations
Desirable Qualifications
  • Insurance experience
  • Chartered surveyors
  • Defect-focused MCIOB or CEng
  • Agricultural / rural experience
  • Project management qualifications
