Key Responsibilities- Manage the ward for a span of duty and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist healthcare services that meet the needs of patients.
- Act as the primary nurse for a small group of individuals and adhere to legislative frameworks.
- Promote equality and inclusivity for all service users through anti-discriminatory practice, supporting individuals' rights, choices, beliefs, and identity, and utilizing effective communication.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care through the principles of Positive Behavioural Support.

Person Specification- Essential:
- 1st Level Registered Nurse
- Professional Registration with NMC
- Experienced and new registrants accepted
- Experience of multi-disciplinary and/or multi-agency working
- Knowledge of the principles of Clinical Governance
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation
- Documented evidence of CPD
- Desirable:
- Evidence of postgraduate study
- Teaching and assessing/mentorship of students
- Experience of research and/or audit and implementing evidence-based practice
- Experience of working with the designated client group
- Broad knowledge of current best practice with designated client group
- Awareness of specific government policy/legislation pertinent to the clinical areas
