HGV Technician Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Gregory Group. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy vehicles and trailers using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
  • 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
