SID Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced Van driver to join our client based in the Cannock area. If you have a current driving license and are looking for a role that involves traveling the UK, or have experience as a drivers mate, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect goods across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Load and unload vehicles, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Plan and optimize routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing road safety
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability
Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Experience driving 3.5 tonne Van, with a strong understanding of vehicle handling and safety
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a strong track record of reliability and efficiency
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Please note that you must be able to start work as early as 4:00am, and be available to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
