Drivers Mate

SiD Recruitment is looking for a Drivers mate who will be assisting the van driver while traveling around England, Scotland and Wales

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the driver in the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Ensure that all goods are properly secured in the vehicle
- Contacting customers to confirm delivery times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a driver's mate or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Flexitime
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cannock: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
