About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at JRL Group Ltd. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the team on services for projects, guiding the project delivery team, and participating in bid activity when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive estimate from estimator and review technical aspects of system proposals
  • Attend pre-order meeting and address all H&S issues: risk assessments, H&S plans etc
  • Possess SMSTS & CSCS Card and produce and agree project programme
  • Coordinate services with other trades and liaise with in-house CAD technicians and design engineers
  • Source and procure plant items: air handling units, boiler etc and source and procure sub-contractors: ductwork, controls, insulation, air conditioning, plumbing & pipework
  • Check and sign off invoices and manage site operatives
  • Attend project meeting and snag and quality control installation
  • Manage all commissioning activities and prepare and submit monthly applications
  • Prepare and submit variations

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services
  • Project Management experience running projects up to £20-40million M&E value
  • Commercial Shell & Core or Fit-Out Experience
  • Managing of sub-contractors and managing of site managers & subordinates
  • Procurements and delivery
