Derivatives Project Management Leader

eClerx Markets is seeking a seasoned Derivatives Project Manager to join our expanding team focused on driving successful change initiatives within the financial technology sector.

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of success in managing complex projects, exceptional planning and analytical skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the investment banking environment and the intricacies of derivatives markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage diverse project teams, including business analysts, developers, subject matter experts, testers, and CI/CD specialists.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement robust project optimization strategies, including control frameworks and risk management plans.
  • Drive change management initiatives, effectively bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other project leaders to ensure alignment across projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment banking middle office, technology, and project management, with a specific focus on derivatives products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, enabling clear and concise reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage medium-to-large software projects, ideally with experience in global teams and diverse skillsets.
