Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN in Adult Nursing
  • Specialized qualification in colorectal, gastrointestinal, IBD, or stoma care nursing

Desirable Qualifications

  • Completion of a history taking and physical assessment course
  • Non-medical prescriber certification
  • Leadership training
  • Research methodology course

  • Experience in telephone advice and triage nursing
  • Basic pouch care proficiency

  • Strong interest in colorectal diseases and gastroenterology

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in nursing research
  • Clinical practice experience in community settings
