We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of clinical nurse specialists in the Stoma and Pouch Care department at St Mark's Hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing long-term management and support to patients with a stoma or fistula. You will work closely with the pouch nurse specialists to provide comprehensive clinical skills, information, advice, and support to patients undergoing pouch/stoma forming surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide long-term management and support to patients with a stoma or fistula
  2. Work closely with the pouch nurse specialists to provide comprehensive clinical skills, information, advice, and support to patients
  3. Develop and manage Nurse Led Clinics and telephone and email advice lines
  4. Communicate with patients and families to provide individualised care and psychological support
  5. Maintain accurate records of patient care and transfer relevant clinical information onto the department's database

To be successful in this role, you will need:
