About the Role:

This is a key leadership position within the Piramal Group, responsible for driving financial planning and analysis across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform business decisions and drive strategic planning, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing timely and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Ensure seamless financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear and concise insights into the company's financial performance.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability and make informed decisions to optimize working capital.
    • Manage working capital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory, to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Accounting and Compliance:
    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, and expense reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards, implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
    • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities, ensuring the team is equipped to drive business success.
