About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a passion for breast care to develop their skills and expertise in a specialist field. You will work closely with our team to provide coordinated, holistic care to patients with breast disease from diagnosis, throughout treatment, and specified follow-up pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist breast care knowledge, advice, and clinical expertise to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with breast disease.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality initiatives to ensure high standards of care and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of the breast care service within the Trust, promoting expert nursing to patient care.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registered Nurse (level 1) qualification.
  • 1st level degree in a relevant subject.
  • Relevant specialist long course in breast care at degree level.
  • Evidence of mentoring and coaching.
  • Advanced communication course.
  • Psychological level 2 training.
