The role: To contribute to the overall operational and strategic development of Care UK services; leading on the development and implementation of our approach to care and clinical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to nursing and care staff by establishing a framework for practice which supports good care and quality services in all homes.

• Implement support strategies to manage specific long-term conditions.

• Participate in continuous professional development to ensure ongoing requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council revalidation and continuing registration are met.

• Remain abreast of developments in clinical practice and take the lead in service wide implementation.

• Support and oversee research initiatives approved by the DQCG and Executive Team and related to clinical/care delivery.

• To ensure clinical standards and strategies comply with national service frameworks, NICE best practice guide and align to regulatory requirements.

• Act as the Care UK brand ambassador for Nursing care and care quality.

• Manage a team of care and clinical workforce co-ordinators and educators

What Were Looking For:

• NMC registered nurse.

• Considerable experience in an equivalent role within the care and nursing sector.

• Demonstrate achievements in improving resident care.

• In-depth awareness of the regulatory quality and governance agenda.

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
