Mobile M&E Supervisor Job Description

Carbon60 is seeking a highly skilled Mobile M&E Supervisor to lead our Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities management services.

About the Role
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop the Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance team through effective communication, training, and development.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support on Electrical & Mechanical Services to buildings and plant, including planned maintenance and reactive repair services.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that new and innovative techniques are developed and implemented to the highest standards, maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance: Support the Site Safety, Health, and Environment teams and activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Customer Requirements: Evaluate customer requirements and produce proposals, including cost and timescales.
  • Engineering Services: Provide an engineering service to design, plan, and project manage minor site refurbishment and equipment installations.
  • Departmental Management: Support the Services Manager - Assets in managing the departmental human resources and operating budget, ensuring all financial management, forecasting, and reporting requirements are met.
  • Business Growth: Develop the existing M&E business unit to ensure growth and stability, linked to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management: The ability to establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Qualifications: A minimum engineering qualification of NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good, all-round knowledge of Maintenance Management disciplines, including Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an M&E Supervisor within the Facilities Management industry.
  • Commercial Awareness: Be commercially aware and have a sound knowledge of budget preparation, negotiation, and management.
  • People Management: Have good people management, leadership, decision-making, and communications skills.
  • Resilience: Be resilient under pressure and able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
  • Driving License: A full UK Driving license.
