Dalkia UK is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on our electrical systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and execute maintenance instructions electronically, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the system.
- Ensure all necessary consumables are available and arrange for replenishment to maintain agreed stock levels.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, ensuring a comprehensive Site Log Book is kept on site for client reference.
- Perform diagnostic analysis on the entire system as required.
- Conduct regular visual condition inspections of installed equipment, submitting written reports on any items that may compromise reliability.
- Engage with clients to ensure no outstanding issues and to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping practices, including plant room cleaning, to maximize the lifespan of installed equipment.
- Adhere to Health & Safety Codes of Safe Working and Environmental policies, reporting any omissions or risks that may compromise a safe working environment.
- Report on the performance of any sub-contracted works, as necessary.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and maintain open communication with clients regarding the progress of outstanding works.
- Make recommendations to the Contract Manager on matters concerning continuous improvement and adding value to the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery, etc.
- Complete all Dalkia maintenance tasks generated by the Helpdesk.
- Address breakdowns as needed.
- Ensure plant areas under Dalkia's responsibility are always clean and tidy.
- Respond promptly to client requests.
- Maintain all site records and logbooks.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the operation of the site.
- Essential:
- Experienced M&E Engineer
- Relevant AC qualifications and experience
- Electrical maintenance experience
- City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360)
- AM2 Completed or Equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 and or 2394 – Inspection and Testing
- 18th Edition
- Desirable:
