About Zinc Network
Zinc Network is an ISO-certified organization dedicated to creating meaningful and measurable change in the world. We specialize in developing programs, interventions, and strategic communications campaigns that address some of the most pressing global challenges, ranging from disinformation and extremism to media capture and authoritarianism. With a team of over 80 professionals from diverse backgrounds, Zinc Network collaborates with a wide range of clients, including governmental agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations.
About the Role
We are seeking talented freelance designers to join our dynamic pool of creative professionals. As part of this network, you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills to impactful social-change projects worldwide. Reporting to our Director of Content, you will be responsible for developing compelling visual concepts and designs that enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate innovative design concepts and effectively communicate them both internally and externally to clients and partners.
- Collaborate with our production, strategy, digital, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality assets.
- Develop new campaign concepts and brands, while also working within existing brand frameworks to create impactful content.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail and ensure that all presented work meets the highest standards.
- Work closely with partners and clients to devise and deliver compelling content ideas that align with their specific needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of assets while adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Adapt designs to different social media platforms and formats, catering to diverse audiences and styles.
- Participate in internal and client reviews, effectively communicating your creative vision and proposals.
- Embrace feedback and be prepared to revise your work to meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Experience working with international clients is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of design principles for various social media platforms and audiences.
- Several years of experience working as a designer.
- Experience with motion graphics is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
