Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team and contribute to our exciting social-change projects around the world. As a designer at Zinc Network, you will have the opportunity to create stunning visual concepts and designs for our campaigns and projects, helping to ensure that our partners' messages land with maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative design concepts and sell them to our clients and partners
  • Communicate design ideas effectively and collaborate with our production, strategy, digital, operations, and project management teams
  • Help develop new campaign concepts and brands, maintaining high standards and ensuring only the best work is presented and implemented
  • Work with our partners and clients to devise and deliver compelling content ideas in line with their needs
  • Ensure assets are delivered to a high quality and on time
  • Design content in several unfamiliar languages and scripts, and ensure our content is relevant to different global cultural and political contexts
  • Participate in internal and client reviews, communicating creative vision and proposals effectively
  • Take feedback well and be prepared to revise your work to meet the needs of our clients, partners, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Excellent understanding of the design needs of different social media platforms and audiences
  • Several years' experience working as a designer
  • Experience in creating motion graphics is a plus
  • High level of creativity and ability to come up with attention-grabbing creative ideas
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Positive and flexible 'can-do' attitude and willingness to solve problems
  • Ability to get on well with the team
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with international clients is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred
