Position Overview

The role of an Accounts Payable Specialist is essential within the Finance and Accounting division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, reconciling statements from suppliers, and facilitating payment processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties for the Accounts Payable Specialist include:

1. Accurately process vendor invoices and credit notes.
2. Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies.
3. Assist with payment processes to ensure timely payments to vendors.
4. Effectively manage inquiries from suppliers and internal teams.
5. Maintain precise records within the Accounts Payable system.
6. Provide support to the broader Finance and Accounting team as needed.
7. Comply with company policies and procedures consistently.
8. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the department.

Candidate Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should possess:
- A solid educational background, ideally in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A proactive mindset towards problem-solving and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger is essential.
