We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to lead our Frome King Street store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of store presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, data protection, and Gift Aid regulations.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteers to support the store's operations.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including stock, utilities, and other overheads.
- Collaborate with the retail team to achieve company-wide goals and objectives.
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
