Senior Property Solicitor Opportunity at Jameson Legal

We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor to join our Agriculture team in Oxford, at the Managing Associate level.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of our Agricultural Property practice, as well as the broader Real Estate Group. They will take the lead on projects, provide supervision to junior team members, and collaborate with various teams within the firm.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive senior-level experience in Rural affairs, with circa 6+ years' post-qualification experience in acting on property matters for agricultural and rural clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting on farm and land sales/purchases
  • Country house sales/purchases
  • Refinance work
  • Receiverships of rural property
  • Easements and licenses
  • Rural tenancies

Requirements:

  • Strong regional presence and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to engage in business development opportunities and understand clients' commercial context
