Senior Property Solicitor Opportunity

Jameson Legal is seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor to join their Agriculture team in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rural affairs and be poised to take on senior-level responsibilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take the lead on projects, providing supervision to junior team members and collaborating with various teams within the firm. They will be responsible for expanding and enhancing the Agricultural Property practice, as well as the broader Real Estate Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting on property matters for agricultural and rural clients
  • Leading on farm and land sales/purchases, country house sales/purchases, and refinance work
  • Providing expertise on easements and licenses, and rural tenancies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, referrers, and internal contacts

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have circa 6+ years' post-qualification experience in rural property law. They will be proficient in farm and land sales/purchases, country house sales/purchases, refinance work, receiverships of rural property, easements and licenses, and rural tenancies.
