Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Technical. As an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining production machinery, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, utilizing strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance across the facility, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance, collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all plant equipment is compliant and fit for purpose, coordinating with external contractors as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices, promoting their development and growth within the company.
- Apprentice-trained with a recognized engineering qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven experience in carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, with a focus on health and safety compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure with a proactive and self-motivated approach, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and company policies, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
