Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Orthopaedic Specialist to join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist casting and post-operative wound care services to Trauma & Orthopaedic patients.
  • Deliver a same-day casting service to Plastics Trauma, Diabetic Podiatry patients, and ED MUA clinics as required.
  • Assist in the delivery of training and education to areas within the Trust who use Plaster of Paris.
  • Provide expert patient/carer/staff advice when a cast is applied.
About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise.

Working Arrangements

This is a 34-hour per week, Monday to Friday role. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
