Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People. As a key member of our neurorehabilitation team, you will work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to maximize functional independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective and efficient rehabilitation services.
- Supervise and support junior therapists, students, and therapy support workers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote client engagement and participation in therapy sessions.
- Contribute to the development and review of treatment plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and aspirations.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and carers on relevant topics, such as disability management and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Membership of the Health Professions Council and British Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Post-qualification experience in neurorehabilitation and physical disability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
