Location: London

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Lead for a prominent food production company that is dedicated to delivering high-quality food items to the UK retail sector.

In this role, you will report directly to the Group Director of a food production organization.

Our client is committed to excellence in food manufacturing, ensuring that every ingredient meets the highest standards to provide products that are both nutritionally balanced and enjoyable.

This position is ideal for a seasoned Supply Chain Planning Lead with experience in the UK food or FMCG sector. You will thrive in a dynamic and less formal setting, where your initiative is key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the inbound inventory flows for both UK and international operations.
  • Take charge of the consolidated customer demand plan and convert it into necessary supplier production forecasts while managing the procurement process.
  • Maintain UK stock levels in accordance with established targets and ensure high service standards.
  • Manage daily relationships with European suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
  • Communicate operational updates effectively with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planning Lead in a food or FMCG production environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Strategic agility, results-driven mindset, and a genuine desire to contribute to business growth.
  • Familiarity with database management and office systems; experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and team-building abilities, with a track record of fostering effective working relationships.

Experience with cross-border imports and managing direct reports is advantageous but not mandatory.

If you possess the qualifications outlined above and are interested in joining a team focused on growth and development, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
