Job Overview

Position: Lead Construction Coordinator

Location: Northwest London

We are seeking a Lead Construction Coordinator to play a pivotal role in managing the logistics, financials, and timelines of a significant construction initiative situated within a major framework in Northwest London.

Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the effective and seamless execution of projects from the initial planning stages through to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Planner and relevant Project Managers to develop work schedules in accordance with their directives and track project advancements to ensure they are completed within the designated financial and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful execution of the project.
  • Formulate and implement the Project Management Strategy.
  • Prepare the project budget and oversee expenditures to ensure completion within financial limits.
  • Establish and manage the overarching project timeline.
  • Monitor adherence to the construction schedule and devise contingency plans in the event of delays.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide consistent updates on project status, risks, and financials.
  • Evaluate and resolve all site coordination challenges.
  • Perform contract management duties, including the issuance of payment approvals.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all Health & Safety measures prior to and during construction.
  • Oversee and coordinate the project handover and closure processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Coordination.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 software.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
