Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Infoblox Support Engineer for a contract role that offers the flexibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in managing the Infoblox suite of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grid Management:
    • Onboard new grid members using CLI.
    • Troubleshoot grid joining issues.
    • Collaborate with the Firewall Team to ensure necessary ports are licensed.
    • Oversee grid and service licenses through the Infoblox Support Portal.
    • Upload grid and service licenses via both CLI and GUI.
  • DDI Configuration:
    • Establish DNS name server groups.
    • Set up DHCP failover associations.
    • Create network views.
    • Define extensible attributes.
    • Import IPAM networks and network containers from CSV files.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):
    • Configure administrators, admin groups, roles, and permissions.
    • Restrict access to GUI, API, or CLI as necessary.
  • Certificate Authority Management:
    • Generate Infoblox Certificate Signing Requests (CSR).
    • Upload CA-signed certificates.
  • Documentation:
    • Update detailed design documents.
    • Prepare handover documentation for the service desk.

This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations within the organization.
