**Job Summary**

Rotherwood Recruitment (2020) Limited is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join their operations team. As an experienced planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate production of the company's products on a daily/weekly basis, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor inventory levels and raw materials to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring a seamless production process.
  • Schedule shifts and workers to provide adequate coverage, taking into account labor laws and regulations.
  • Provide regular production status updates and report any production issues to senior management, recommending solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and mitigate production disruptions and productivity problems, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Attend production meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvements and best practices.
  • Investigate production issues and develop resolutions, working closely with the production team and other stakeholders.
  • Determine equipment, material, and manpower requirements for project execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Verify that final products meet quality standards and customer specifications, implementing corrective actions to address any deviations.
  • Ensure that the production team adheres to company policies and safety standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Proven knowledge of production processes and quality control principles.
  • Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Technical skills in using material requirements planning and scheduling software, with experience in implementing process improvements.
