Community Paediatric Specialist Grade Doctor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Paediatric Specialist Grade Doctor to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.

Job Details

Salary: £96,990 - £107,154 per annum (Pro-rata)

Contract: Substantive

Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 8:2)

Location: Great Oaks Clinic, Great Oaks, Basildon, SS14 1EH

Key Responsibilities

As a Community Paediatric Specialist Grade Doctor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Working directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participating in the local Child Protection rota
  • Supporting your peers and team leader, and being an effective team member
  • Working alongside 6wte Consultant Paediatricians, Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service
Person Specification

Essential:

  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
  • Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children, and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding
  • At least 4 years post graduate training including 2 years community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences)
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training
