Paediatric Registrar Locum Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paediatric Registrar to join our team at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. As a locum Paediatric Registrar, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our young patients, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of paediatric conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough paediatric assessments and formulate effective treatment plans
  • Assist in paediatric procedures and surgeries, working closely with consultants and the multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition
  • Provide support and guidance to junior doctors and medical staff
  • Participate in teaching and training activities within the department
Requirements:
  • GMC registration and relevant experience as a Specialty Doctor or Registrar (ST3-ST6) in Paediatrics
  • Demonstrated expertise in paediatric medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
